A Zoom Recording

Sometimes it is not possible for us all to be in the same place at the same time to record the show, so we use the zoom.ca app for our recordings. Zoom is a video conferencing app similar to Skype but designed specifically for conferencing. While the quality of the audio, of course, is not as good as recording in the studio, it means that we are able to produce a show when otherwise we would not be able to. 

This app is probably the most popular one used by online Toastmasters clubs like "Witty Storytellers" and "The Firebirds Collective" and of course it can be used successfully for hybrid clubs also, as we have found with Par Excellence Toastmasters in Cork city.

Problems with Chrome

We are experiencing some problems with the Chrome browser which is not displaying our podcasts properly. Until this is fixed we recommend that you use another browser to view the Shows page. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

The Future

We have just been informed that Irish Radio International is going off air very shortly. Rather than find another Internet radio station to host our show we have decided that we will go podcast only from this coming Friday. We will continue to produce shows weekly and they will be podcasted as before on this website as well as, in individual segments, on iTunes. We are currently in the process of uploading all the 2018 shows to be available on iTunes. We hope that you will stay with us in our new format.
